Gainsville DSM Black Death

Gainesville DSM Black Death

We have an unfortunate on going event happening in Gainesville, FL involving DSM'ers
There is an unsettling trend going on in Gainesville and it has been this way ever since I have owned my car, and definitely before that as well. We call this phenomenon The Gainesville Black Death!!!

Of course with very hard street driving and you cannot forget with autocrossing and drag racing comes breakage. The fact of the matter is we drive our cars very hard. Most evenings start off at 11pm or later and don't end until 4am. Included in such events are cop buckings, bad ass street racing, and of course the afore mentioned DUMP. We, the DSM'ers of Gainesville, unarguably have the fastest cars in International Motorsports and for this we pay the price. With every breakage comes comments from the peanut gallery. These are everyday morons driving n/a cars with bullshit intakes and 30" Rieams. Most of the time the statments are simply ignored or a DSM'er is swiftly assinged to "beat down" on such an individual (not physically). Instead we send Vijay on the highway with them to promptly pull 30+ bus lenghts on their pos. This immediately has them envious and they buy one the next day. Now this story isn't really about the harrassment received by these individuals but rather about the consistancy of not having all of our cars operational at once.

It never fails that when one or more car(s) are ready to see the streets again, one or more car(s) go back down. For instance my friend Kevin had crankwalk, got it fixed, the same day it came out of the shop another AWD breaks his tranny racing motorcycles!!! A few weeks ago we went street racing in Jax. Saw a DSM trying to race the Supra tt we were in. It was n/a, ha right race us, in this? He runs a red light and we see him 200 yards ahead in the back of a p/u truck!! See we weren't even in our DSM's and we brought the Black Death with us to Jax!!! Stay tuned to when we will be in your area.....you will know.

The odd thing about it all is that there is no grace period, IT ALWAYS HAPPENS THE SAME DAY!!! Above was only one example this happens weekly and cannot and will not be explained. If you ever travel to Gainesville, watch out for the Black Death to this day they still don't make a cream for it.
